Available on cassette or compact disc, these were collected over a number of years by folklorist Robert Bethke. Ham Ferry, former lumberjack, guide and full-time story teller, was recognized as one of the best storytellers in the region. This rare collection includes Ham’s own versions of favorite poems like "The Shooting of Dan McGrew" and "The Wood Box" and tales of black flies, big deer and fish, and eluding the game warden.
